From its headquarters in the Midfast Foundry, and in hundreds of smaller laboratories across Ord, Llael, and Cygnar, the Order’s ingenious alchemists constantly toil to invent new weapons for their formidable arsenal, continuing their tradition as one of the most scientifically sophisticated militaries to be seen on the battlefields of the Iron Kingdoms.
Ascendant Mentalist
Trancers are usually short-lived because the powerful alchemical mixtures that give them psychokinetic abilities quickly damage their bodies. The process is brutal and unforgiving, leading to a rapid decline that few survive for long. Most trancers only last for a brief time before succumbing to the destructive effects of the compounds inside them.
Rare anomalies known as Ascendant Mentalists show remarkable resistance to this chemical decay, able to withstand its effects indefinitely.
These exceptional trancers not only survive but also evolve into powerful psychic fighters. With the extra time their resilience provides, they can unlock and master mental feats of strength that ordinary trancers, limited by their short lives, never get the chance to develop.
On the battlefield, an Ascendant Mentalist channels this honed psychokinesis in service to the alchemists of the Crucible Guard, projecting force where it’s needed most. This 40mm solo is a force to be reckoned with.
