Shipping & Delivery
Gap Games @ Newsxpress will usually send items within 1-3 business days after order has been placed except on Weekends or public holidays. Postage covers both tracked delivery via Australia post or in some rare cases Couriers. A tracking number will be sent via email. The $10 fee covers delivery to anywhere is Australia. Extremely heavy orders (over 5kg) may incur a small additional fee and we will contact customers directly if this is the case.
The $20 Express post option is available for orders under 2kg. If the order is over 2kg then we will contact via email or phone to advise, refund the $10 and order will be sent regular post.
New Zealand: items are usually sent within 1-3 business days* (M-F) after order has been placed
*Note: Signature on delivery is not included in above costs however is available on request.
*All items are sent with "Authority to Leave" by default
New Zealand Postage Costs:
$20 1-2kg
$30 2-4kg
$40 4 to 7 kg (7kg max to NZ)
(NZ Import duties &/or Taxes are the responsibility of the purchaser/receiver)
Postage Timeframes
Standard Postage: 1-3 business days after order placed, depending on current volume of orders (eg Large Pre-Order fulfilment may effect times)
Express Postage: If order received prior to 2pm weekdays then we endeavour to post same day. (This is not guaranteed and may be affected by circumstances beyond our control)
Please note that all items are sent as per Australia Post Insurance (Max $100 plus postage) unless the insured postage option is selected. If insured option is selected then Gap Games will cover the full amount of order (either by refund or replacement) if items are damaged/lost in transit.**
**Please note that Gap Games insurance does not cover theft/loss once item has been marked as delivered by Australia Post. Proof of damage (eg Photos) may be required.
Please note that Gap Games / Newsxpress - The Gap or any staff members of these business are not liable for loss/damage of any items. Everything is sent at purchasers risk.
Pick up in store is permitted within certain time frames and days.
Customer Responsibility (Correct Address)
Please note that while we do all possible to ship to the correct advised address, it is the customers responsibility to update and use the correct address when entering shipping information. If we are notified to change an address post order we will do our best to amend however we take no responsibility for incorrectly delivered orders.
Please note that due to the "usage terms" of some payment vendors "Eg Paypal" Shipping addresses will be overwritten to match the address as per the Payment Vendor account.
We will do our best to ship to an amended address however the "Payment Vendor" address must also be updated as per "Payment Vendor Usage Terms" otherwise we will not be liable for orders delivered to "Old" addresses.
Shipping for Pre-Orders
If an order contains any Pre-Order items along with other items in stock then everything will be shipped when the pre-order item becomes available.
Please notify us if separate shipping is required and we send send an invoice for the additional shipping cost.
COMBINED ORDERS:
Please note that Gap Games will no longer combine separate orders. Postage MUST be paid on all individual orders requiring postage.
Should you wish to add items to an existing unfulfilled order please contact us on contact@gapgames.com.au and we will endeavour to add these items.
Please note that we can not add additional items to orders that have processed to picking/packing stage.
PICKUP INSTORE
COLLECTION TIMEFRAMES
PAID ORDERS: Please collect paid orders within 7 business days of receiving your "ready for collection" email.**
UNPAID/PAY ON PICKUP: Please collect and pay for unpaid orders within 3 business days of receiving your "ready for collection" email or order will be cancelled and returned to stock.
Please check your order for accuracy before leaving the The Gap Village.
**Please note that we reserve the right to return paid orders "not collected within 7 days" to stock anytime after the 7day collection timeframe. Funds will be kept in credit for up to 6mths and can be used within that time to purchase additional products or refunded on request. While we will do our best to contact purchaser before returning to stock we do not offer guarantees on this process.
