Garp’s Marine Ship is one of many vessels that make up the World Government’s Marine forces. This ship, in particular, belongs to the famed Vice Admiral Monkey D. Garp, the grandfather of Monkey D. Luffy. Garp is a powerful and influential member of the Marines, earning him this unique warship. Garp’s Marine Ship features a giant dog’s head chewing a bone for a figurehead and bone-shaped booms, each flanked by two paws on each end. The cabin and crow’s nests on Garp’s Warship resemble red-roofed doghouses, straying from the typical Marine color scheme. These dog-themed motifs matched the mask Garp used to hide his identity before revealing Luffy’s family lineage, which took place over 15 years ago! Bandai designed each part to pop right off the runner without any nippers, and they included a thorough sheet of color-correcting stickers for a great display piece right out of the box. The lower hull of Garp’s Marine Ship easily separates from the upper half, allowing builders to choose between displaying the ship in its entirety or just what’s above water level!

Fun Fact: During combat, the marines would prepare massive conveyor belts with cannonballs for Garp to hurl at pirate ships with his bare hands! During the Straw Hat’s escape from Waters Seven, Garp brandishes a gigantic cannonball many times larger than the Thousand Sunny and launches it into the air above the ship.
