The 81mm mortar was one of the most important British weapons of World War II, providing infantry with close-range indirect fire support. Capable of blasting enemy infantry at short notice, and lightweight enough to be rapidly redeployed wherever they were needed, they fought on all fronts throughout the war. These crewmen are bundled up for cold weather, ensuring that your troops will never be without supporting fire.
Medium Mortar teams are one of the core elements of Heavy Weapons Platoons in Bolt Action. Great at pounding enemy infantry and weapons teams with powerful indirect fire, they can range in on enemy units and force them to redeploy or risk destruction. Every Bolt Action collection needs a Medium Mortar!
