Warmachine Direct Crucible Guard Infantry and Officer & Standard Bearer

Crucible Guard line infantry make up the bulk of the force: an all-volunteer corps drawn from Cygnar, Llael, and Ord, trained to hold the front line in tight skirmish formations.

Their standard kit says everything about how the Guard wages war. It includes Crucible Arms Model 609 rifles, hermetically sealed armour treated to withstand caustic agents, and breather masks that filter smoke and toxins so they can operate in hostile environments for prolonged periods.

This heavier kit comes with consequences. The Guard accepts vulnerability in exchange for disruption and pressure on the enemy. Those who demonstrate excellence can expect promotion or redeployment into more specialised branches, such as the heavy infantry division or, for the rare few, the prestigious rocketmen.
