Wood Elf Realms: Orion, the King in the Woods

Orion is the consort-king of Athel Loren and husband of the Mage Queen Ariel. Though he is an immortal spirit, his corporeal being is tied to the coming and going of the seasons. Thus, he passes willingly into his own funeral pyre each midwinter, only to be reborn in glorious splendour on the first day of spring. Upon his return, Orion will gather up his weapons and sound his mighty horn, calling Athel Loren to join him upon the Wild Hunt.

This multipart metal kit builds Orion and his two hunting hounds for use in your Wood Elf Realms armies in games of Warhammer: The Old World. As a god of the forest, He stands head and shoulders over the Elves and wields weapons befitting his stature – the legendary Spear of Kurnous, and his massive bow, the Hawk's Talon. When he blows his horn to signal the Wild Hunt, his armies fight all the harder in his presence. He is accompanied by two spectral hounds who act as his hunting dogs. Orion is a fantastic centrepiece model for your collection, an absorbing painting challenge, and an absolute beast in combat.

This kit comprises 10 metal components, 1x Citadel 50mm Square Base, and 2x Citadel 25mm by 50mm Rectangular Bases. These miniatures require assembly and are supplied unpainted – we recommend using Citadel Colour paints.
