"Anglers wait in ambush for prey to come to them. Their glowing 'lure' mimics the look of a flower common to the island."
Evolution was given somewhat of a boost by the aftermath of the atomic bombs. Fish like the Angler have grown to a larger size, along with appendages that allow them to traverse dry land. The power of their jaws is paired with an animal cunning, the Angler using the growth on their head to hide amongst the reeds surrounding their wetland home. All the better to lure their prey into their waiting maw...
