The IONIC WWII Italian Armored Vehicles Set includes a carefully selected range of acrylic colors for painting vehicles of the Regio Esercito during World War II.
The colors in this set represent the main camouflage tones applied to Italian vehicles across North Africa, the Balkans, the Eastern Front, and Italy. Historically, Italian AFVs entered the war painted either in overall green grey (initially dark or grigio-verde scuro, later lighter or grigio-verde chiaro) or in red-brown (rosso ruggine). These base colors were often supplemented with disruptive patches of green or red-brown.
