Mr Hobby: Mr. Finishing Surfacer 1500 Black

Mr. Finishing Surfacer 1500 Black from Mr. Hobby is a top-tier, ultra-fine lacquer primer crafted for scale modelers seeking a flawless foundation before painting. With its 1500-grade microfiller, this surfacer produces a smooth, even surface that improves paint adhesion while preserving intricate details—making it ideal for high-end projects like Gunpla, aircraft, vehicles, and resin kits. The black color helps highlight surface imperfections such as scratches, seam lines, and sanding marks without interfering with later paint layers. Its fast-drying formula streamlines workflow and can be easily sanded to achieve a perfectly smooth, glass-like finish.
