The StarCraft Tabletop Miniatures Game Wave 1 Rulebook (ACHSCMG0031) provides the core rules for Archon Studio's skirmish wargame, enabling tactical battles with Terran, Zerg, and Protoss miniatures on a 32mm scale. Released as part of the March 2026 launch, it emphasizes fast-paced RTS-inspired gameplay without traditional tabbing mechanics.

Features:

• Three-Phase Structure: Alternating turns in Movement, Assault (shooting), and Close Combat phases, with APM tokens for initiative control via passing.
• Dynamic Supply System: Start with reserves; deploy units as supply increases each round or frees up from losses, supporting reinforcements.
• Rock-Paper-Scissors Counters: Units like marauders excel vs. armored foes but falter against light infantry; aerial units dodge melee but skip objectives.
• One-Roll Combat: Single dice rolls for attacks (rate, hit, damage) plus surge dice to cancel armor saves, balancing horde and elite play.
• Terrain Integration: Sized terrain (1-3 or infinite) affects line-of-sight and hiding, with faction tactics like Terran dropships for flexible deployment.
