Vallejo - Squidmar Color 271 - Leather Ink 18 ml - Pre-Order

Leather Ink (74.271) is a dark brown ink. This water-based ink belongs to the Squidmar Color series, developed by Vallejo in collaboration with Emil Nyström and Lukas Holmström of Squidmar Miniatures. All 72 colors are designed to work together as a single system: strong contrast, intuitive mixing, and high saturation. 18 ml bottle with dropper cap.

Squidmar Color – Ink

The twelve inks were developed around the painting style of Emil and Lukas. With a completely new formulation, they offer controlled saturation, even application, and outstanding performance with glazes and color blends. They intensify a color, filter a surface, create colored shadows, tint metallics, or enrich transitions without obscuring the work underneath – the natural evolution of Vallejo Game Color Inks.

Tips for use:

• Applied on its own, the ink creates saturated shadows and deep color filters.
• When diluted as a glaze, it intensifies a color or adjusts the color temperature without obscuring details.
• When mixed with metallics, colored metallic effects are created, for example for gold, copper or fantasy metals.
• Ideal for fast techniques like speed painting and for creating contrast over light base coats.
